Caractère is a weekly email about wine. This page says what we keep about you and why.

• What we store: your email address, the language you chose, and where you subscribed from (for example a link in our Instagram bio). Nothing else.
• Why: to send you the weekly letter in your language, and to know which of our links bring readers.
• Sending: the weekly letter goes out through beehiiv; the quiz result email goes out through Resend. Both process this data on our behalf.
• Joining: you are added to the list as soon as you subscribe. There is no confirmation email to click. Every letter carries a one-click unsubscribe, and the quiz result email carries one too.
• Analytics: the site counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
• Your rights: you can unsubscribe with one click in any letter. To have your data deleted entirely, or to ask anything, write to hello@caractere.wine.
