I wanted wine to speak a language anyone could feel. Not tasting notes, not scores – emotion. A person, a moment, a tension you recognize instantly. We translate what's in the glass into what's in the frame. If you look at the image and understand the wine without a single technical word – we've done our job.
My role is to listen to the wine before anyone else speaks. I find its contradiction – where the richness meets the restraint, where warmth hides something cold. I don't describe flavors. I find the tension that will become a character, a world, a story. The wine always knows who it wants to be.
I take the tension Paul finds and ask: what moment would make you stop scrolling? Not an illustration – a scene with gravity. Someone standing still while the world moves. A gesture that makes you ask "what happened?" I build frames that could exist in a real film. No symbols. Just humans, pressure, and one frozen second.
Everything you see – the light, the texture, the warmth of her skin, the copper on the wall – that's the wine made visible. I translate Paul's tension and Stéphane's frame into color, fabric, atmosphere. The palette comes from the glass. If the wine is generous but precise, so is the image: rich, but nothing spills over.
