Your wine character
This is one of the nine Caractère wine characters.
Celebratory
We'll find a reason
The right song comes on, and your plans for a quiet evening change. You choose places where something is happening and it’s easy to join in. For a good evening, you need people. No need to check the calendar for an occasion.
Your wine character is Celebratory. A wine you want to open for everyone. Someone will propose a toast, someone else will interrupt with a story, and the dancing may well start before dessert.
A Portuguese example
Bical · Bairrada · Sparkling
Look for a dry Bairrada sparkling wine made with Bical, a grape often used in the region's sparkling blends. It can bring peach and apricot notes alongside freshness. We'd choose its sparkling expression for Celebratory. Now find someone to open it with.
